We pay particular attention to the quality of the horns used in the production of biodynamic preparations.
The horns we supply are collected from slaughterhouses in central France and the surrounding area.
These horns come from cows that have calved (with a minimum of one calving ring) and have an opening diameter of at least 4 cm. We exclude all poor quality or damaged horns (those that could crumble, that have been boiled or in contact with cleaning products).
The elaboration of biodynamic preparations requires specific know-how, we recommend doing it with experienced people and consulting Vincent Masson's Manuel pour l'élaboration et la mise en oeuvre des préparations biodynamiques (Manual for the elaboration and implementation of biodynamic preparations).
Furthermore, practice shows that small quantities of horns give less reliable results than when several hundred horns are buried in the same place. This is why we recommend making the preparations collectively.
In batches of 20 horns, which can be found on our order site, Category Horns.
